I grew up in Northern California but made my way to San Diego in 2007 for college at SDSU, where I earned a B.S. in Sustainable Tourism Management. Did I use it? Not exactly. Instead, I went all in on my dream job—becoming a Dolphin and Whale Trainer at SeaWorld San Diego.

After a decade of swimming with my flippered friends and studying marine mammal behavior, I somehow found myself studying human behavior—as a Talent Acquisition Manager. The journey between those two worlds? Wild. Heartbreak, being broke, getting sick, experiencing homelessness, and ultimately, finding my faith again—it’s all part of my story. When I’m not coaching or recruiting, you’ll find me chasing adventure—hiking, skiing, surfing, wakeboarding, backpacking, mountain biking or scuba diving. If it gets my heart racing, I’m in.
